Angerer Hoch Alm

719 meters in altitude; 8.7 kilometer
8.9% average incline

Approach: from town center along the Grossglockner road heading towards Bruck - access on the right hand side.

Requirements: from very easy to very demanding
Incline: 0.5% to 12%
General Overview: very demanding; for skilled mountain biker's

Trauner Alm

709 meters in altitude; 13.9 kilometers
5.1 average incline

Approach: from the town center along the Glockner road heading towards the Großglockner directly at the Ferleiten toll-station (or with the Glockner bus to the bus-stop in Hochmais).

Requirements: very easy to difficult.
Incline: flat (ideal for children) to 10.4%
General Overview: beautiful landscape and one of the best bike routes. The untrained mountain biker can also accomplish this.

Remarks: A variety of alpine flora - orchids in Rotmoos and an impressive view of 15 - 3,000 peaks. At the end of the valley there is the Trauner Alm, with rooms for tourist-beds in the 100 year old Edelweißalm. Ferleitenhaus and the Ferleiten Wild Animal Park with a children's recreational park are in front of the toll-station.

Schwarzenberg Hut

Open / managed from July to approx. the 11th of September

Moos Alm - Bruck/Gries

Moos Alm - Bruck - town area Gries

A managed hut with a panoramic view of the 3 Brothers, Wiesbachhorn and Kitzsteinhorn at 1,450 meters above sea level. Approach with a car from Gries (Hohenwarter Bakery) in the Griesergraben to the end of the valley. 1.5 hours ascent on a logging road.
Variation 2. Approach from St. Georgen to Palfenhof. 1.5 hours ascent on a logging road, later on a hiking path.

Remarks:

* own fish pond
* sensational panorama
* Additional hikes to Hundstein (2 hours)

Kohlschnait Hut

Reachable within 30 minutes walking time, approach with a car is also possible. An adventure playground and a farm with lots of animals. Open from Thursday to Sunday and holiday's, open every day at 11:00 a.m.. Bread baking in a wood oven with mill tours on Thursday's.

Managed Statzer Haus on Hundstein

A summit hut at 2,117 meters above sea level.  Reachable from Bruck over Erlhofplatte or from Gries onto Moosalm in 3 - 4 hours. Open from end of May to mid October.
